Meet the Teachers
Jennifer Perue – Bears Class/Pre-K Teacher
Ms. Jennifer has taught preschool at Longview Chapel since 2009. She started out teaching the Tigers Class, and then she started teaching the Bears/Pre-K Class in 2015. Prior to coming to Longview Chapel Preschool, she stayed home with her three children for ten years. Being a stay-at-home mom allowed her the time and flexibility to teach Sunday School at her church and volunteer at her children’s school. Before staying at home with her children, Ms. Jennifer worked as an assistant at the Barbara Gordon Montessori School in Colleyville, Texas. Originally from California, she earned her B.A. in Psychology. Missouri is the place she and her family have called home these past twenty years. Ms. Jennifer has a passion for children, and she is thankful for the opportunity to teach. She hopes that she will be a light and a positive example to all the students she has the privilege to instruct.
Shelby Seymour – Tigers Class Teacher
Ms. Shelby has been teaching at Longview Chapel since 2013, teaching music for two years before she started teaching the Tigers Class. Over the years, she has acquired wide-ranging education experience through teaching preschool for eight years, tutoring children in reading, and homeschooling her children. Ms. Shelby has training in Conscious Discipline and is Paraprofessional Certified. She loves incorporating music and creativity into the learning experience. She has two children and two dogs.
Becky Ruf – Lions Class Teacher
Ms. Becky has taught preschool at Longview Chapel since the Preschool opened in 2008. She has a life-long passion for children, beginning with babysitting for her church growing up. Ms. Becky enjoys fostering creativity and doing crafts with her students. She loves watching her students grown and learn new things, and she hopes her students develop a life-long love for learning and make lots of memories. She especially desires her students to feel loved, appreciated, and special. Ms. Becky and her husband have two sons, three dogs, and three cats. She enjoys the outdoors, especially the beaches in Florida.
Whitney Mammoliti– Program Director
Ms. Whitney took over as the Program Director in 2024. She has previously worked as a Parent Educator for Parents as Teachers and has held various roles within the early education field working with both typical and special needs children. Ms. Whitney graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. Degree in Family Studies and Human Services. Ms. Whitney’s passion is early education and thrives to make each child feel welcomed and valued. In her free time Ms. Whitney enjoys volunteering at her local church and spending time with her Husband Kirk and their four Children. She loves animals, home improvement projects, and spending time outdoors.
Michelle Maples – Lions Class Teacher/Gym Teacher
