Our teens are also welcome to attend summer camp at Tall Oaks, mission trips, and other special events that will be announced in our monthly publications!
FAMILY MINISTER
Rev. Patrick Landau
Rev. Patrick Landau is a pastor who has specialized in ministry with young people, believing that Jesus meant it when he said, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them.” Working in ministry since 2009 in a variety of settings, he is committed to helping the church minister to and with young people and their families, especially with how much and how quickly the world has changed.
Patrick studied music composition at William Jewell College before obtaining his Master of Divinity from Central Seminary. He completed a continuing education certificate through Princeton Theological Seminary’s Institute for Youth Ministry focused on innovative methods in youth ministry. With this educational foundation and years of experience, Patrick approaches ministry with young people with empathy and creativity knowing that different families have different needs and churches can and should adapt accordingly. Patrick is a commissioned minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) working toward ordination. He plays violin, writes choral music, scrapbooks, journals, and plays the occasional video game. While he grew up north of the river, he now lives with his wife and daughter in Shawnee, Kansas.

Ashley Davis
Ashley is a freshman at MCC Longview majoring in hospitality. When she’s not at work, you can find her line dancing, swing dancing, singing, and/or playing guitar. She also enjoys anything outdoors and being around the people she loves. She loves talking to people and learning new things.
