Youth & Young Adults

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers
in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

1 Timothy 4:12.

WELCOME TO LCCC YOUTH

Our teens meet twice a month for Youth Group, in addition to the monthly special event they host. And, whether it’s raking leaves for church members or collecting donations for a local charity, the Youth Group also does a service project once a month for our community!

Our Young Adults group meets once a month for Bible Study and a meal, typically on the last Saturday of the month.

Meet our Family Minster, Jessy Allen!

My name is Pastor Jessy and I serve as the Family Minister! I am married to my best friend Jeremy and have two kids, James and Juniper. We are from Kansas City and have 5 cats and a dog. I am currently attending Philips Theological Seminary studying Pastoral Ministry. In Family Ministry, I serve birth to young adults. I have served in ministry for the past 8 years in various roles. I love serving kids and youth as I watch them grow in Christ from kids to adults. I would love to personally invite you and your family to join us for worship on Sunday mornings!

Meet our Youth Sunday School Leader, Jeff Scraggs!

Jeff was born and raised in KCK, and has been married to his wife, Kim, for 31 blessed years. God blessed Jeff with a degree and a career in HVAC, helping people with environmental comfort and safety. He has also enjoyed courses at Mid-America Nazarene College. Jeff has witnessed God’s power to save and is saved by God’s grace. He trusts that God can and will continue to work in and through him.

You can contact Jeff via email at youth@longviewchapelcc.org

If you’re feeling God call you to serve with youth as a volunteer at the Chapel, or join our Family Life Committee, or just get to know more about our Youth Group in general, please reach out to Jessy at familyminister@longviewchapelcc.org.
