FAMILY LIFE MINISTRY

Longview Chapel's Family Life Ministry Team provides the Church with meaningful faith events for people of all ages. Our Family Life  Ministry Team is comprised of adult members of our Church who guide and formulate Christian Education for all ages. We are involved in many fun and exciting educational activities that stimulate Biblically-based knowledge and growth within our Church.

The Family Ministry Team's responsibilities include:

• Select Christian Education curriculum for all ages
• Recruit and train teachers.
• Evaluate current curriculum and research new materials and methods.
• Conduct annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) for our younger youth.
• Oversee the organization and implementation of Children's Youth Group, ministry beyond Church School.  Oversee the recruitment and training of Sponsors and programming activities.
• Oversee the staffing and structure of the Nursery ministry. Insure a safe and fun Nursery environment.
• Promote the Church's Christian Education values and coordinate these values and requirements with other Ministry Teams in the Church.

The Family Life Ministry Team sponsors the following activities:

• Youth Sunday  - Sunday Worship Services are led by
• Summer Camping program at Tall Oaks Camp and Conference Center near DeSoto, Kansas
• Vacation Bible School – Weeklong session of evening fun and learning
• Children's Worship – Every Sunday during worship hour for children ages 4 thru 3^rd grade
• Children's Christmas Pageant
our Youth. Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday before Palm Sunday
