Longview Chapel Christian Church

It's been awhile..and no I have cheated.  Really, truly, haven't cheated.  You'd think that after this long I wouldn't want coffee anymore...soooo not true! Cory is nice enough to brew it every day so I can smell it.  Nice of him, isn't it?  We went on a trip over spring break and during the car ride he "made" me pour him a cup of coffee while he was driving--very cruel.

I was reading on cnn.com yesterday the side effects on quitting your caffeine addiction cold turkey...they wrote that it would make you cranky.  Reaaallly...I hadn't noticed.  It wasn't recommended.  Maybe I should've read that last February! 

I wish I could say it's been fun-not so much fun, but I am proud of myself for finishing.  Of course it's not over until Sunday.  Sunday is a feast day and I will be drinking coffee that morning!  How else could I manage to be there for the sunrise service?

Someone told me today that Lent officially ends Friday for Catholics...don't know if it's true or not...lucky ducks!

Anyway-I hope reading about my self inflicted coffee fast has been amusing for you.  Ironically I don't know if I would've been able to actually stick to the fast if I hadn't told anyone or posted anything to this blog-thanks for helping me stick with it!
