Grief Resources for children and adults.
A book has got to be pretty good to hold my interest during the school semester. I have required reading for about 10 or so books this semester, so reading time is pretty tight. However, I highly recommend this book, "When a Child You Love is Grieving" by Harold Ivan Smith.
It's not very long, gives practicle suggestions, has great stories to help make his point. Each section is only 1-2 pages long, so it can be read all at once or for only a quick moment.
It is written for the adult in a child's life, to help and encourage the child in the grieving process. Grief is not linear, it's a process that takes time...and this book recognizes that grief for adults and children has some similarities, and some differences.
